Vascular Sonographer
Apex Vascular | US Heart and Vascular
Apex Vascular, part of US Heart and Vascular, is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to support our growing vascular diagnostic services in Lenoir City, just outside Knoxville, Tennessee. This role focuses on a full range of vascular diagnostic ultrasound studies in a dedicated ultrasound suite, working alongside a collaborative, physician-led vascular surgery team.
Schedule
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- No weekends
What You'll Do
- Perform upper and lower extremity venous studies
- Perform upper and lower extremity arterial studies
- Perform carotid ultrasounds
- Perform abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) studies
- Perform AV fistula studies
- Conduct post-venous ablation follow-up ultrasounds
- Obtain high-quality vascular images following established protocols
- Work closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent outcomes
- Provide compassionate, professional care to patients
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) preferred
- ARDMS or CCI certification required or eligible
- Approximately 1 year of vascular ultrasound experience preferred; new graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Strong technical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent patient communication skills
- Team-oriented and dependable
