Radiologic Technologist – Lafayette ASC
US Heart and Vascular is seeking a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the new Lafayette ASC within Cardiology Specialists of Acadiana. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-quality outpatient cardiovascular environment alongside a dedicated and experienced team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare instruments and supplies needed to perform procedures according to the physician’s documented preferred routine.
- Prepare the operating field for procedures.
- Perform routine and delegated technical duties.
- Assist the physician and surgical team before, during, and after procedures.
- Assume responsibility and accountability for operating room preparation, including support, assistance, and equipment/instrument management.
- Support RN staff in pre-op and PACU areas.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of Cath Lab or surgical experience
- Associate degree preferred but not required
- BLS & ACLS certification required
- RT Certification preferred; RCIS or RCVT may be accepted in lieu of RT
