Description
US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Medical Practice Office Supervisor to join our team at Pima Heart and Vascular in Tucson, AZ
Requirements:
- Oversee scheduling and coordination of clinical staff and physician clinic operations.
- Manage clinic volume, analyze performance metrics, and identify causes of volume variability.
- Prepare and run reports for physicians, providing data-driven insights and timely responses to inquiries.
- Serve as the primary liaison with shared services to ensure physician needs and questions are promptly addressed.
- Support recruitment and hiring processes, including onboarding and orientation for new employees.
- Maintain and enforce workplace policies, fostering a positive and compliant work environment.
- Facilitate conflict resolution, administer corrective actions, and manage employee performance evaluations.
- Ensure the office environment remains clean, safe, and operationally efficient.
- Coordinate maintenance and facility improvement initiatives as needed.
- Act as a central liaison between departments, executives, and staff to promote clear, consistent communication and collaboration.
- Manage office technology and equipment, troubleshooting minor IT issues, and coordinate with vendors for repairs and upgrades.
Requirements:
- At least one year’s medical office experience is required
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program is required
- Managerial experience preferred but not required
- Cardiology experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge in the healthcare setting
- Ability to effectively communicate
