Description

US Heart and Vascular is in need of a Lead Dual Sonographer to join our team at Heartplace in Frisco, TX.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform 2-D Echo and Doppler studies.
  • Conduct Stress Echocardiography studies.
  • Provide mentorship and training for new graduates and team members.
  • Oversee image quality and ensure adherence to established scanning protocols.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for workflow and technical concerns.
  • Develop and implement consistent scanning protocols and quality assurance checklists.
  • Support the stabilization and ongoing improvement of the ultrasound program.
  • Perform a variety of noninvasive vascular evaluations.
  • Explain procedures to patients and obtain informed consent.
  • May be required to move between practice locations as needed
  • Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • At least 3 years of practical experience.
  • Currently registered as a Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI.
  • Currently registered as a Vascular Sonographer or vascular registry eligible and completed by deadline set by the Company.
  • Current CPR certification.
