US Heart and Vascular is seeking a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join our team in Houston, TX. We are hiring for both a full-time and a PRN position.

Responsibilities:

  • Review the operating room schedule at the beginning of each day to plan and prepare to perform the scrub position's duties effectively and efficiently.
  • Competent in assisting routine Cardiac Cath and EP procedures/skills.
  • Operates computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation and performs quality control measures to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and skills to interpret and respond to patient data and hemodynamic responses during pre, intra, and post-Cath and EP procedures.
  • Assists with the patient's admission, transfer, and discharge.
  • Demonstrates ability to perform different responsibilities within the department, such as being a circulator, monitor, scrub, and holding area personnel assistant.
  • Maintains professionalism and communicates effectively in high-stress situations.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited program in surgical technology, RCIS, or ARRT certification, or two years of full-time Cath Lab experience.
  • RCIS certification required at annual review.
  • At least two years of Cath Lab experience preferred but not required.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
