Position Overview:
We’re looking for a hands-on HR Director who’s excited to build, shape, and lead the HR function in a growing healthcare services company. This individual will oversee all aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and training.
Unlike a purely strategic leadership role, this position is highly hands-on — ideal for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and directly managing day-to-day HR operations while also shaping long-term people strategy. The HR Director will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, a coach to managers, and a resource for employees across the organization.The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem solver, and relationship-builder with the ability to balance big-picture strategy with daily operational needs in a growing, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and manage the full HR function, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, payroll, and benefits.
- Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with company goals and business growth strategies.
- Provide hands-on support to managers and employees on HR policies, employee relations, and performance matters.
- Oversee and continuously improve the talent acquisition process to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with all regulations.
- Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace.
- Support training and development programs to build leadership capabilities and career growth opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and HR best practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executives and managers on workforce planning, organizational design, and employee development.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a Director or senior HR management role.
- Proven track record of both strategic HR leadership and hands-on execution of HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, compliance, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust, influence decisions, and drive organizational change.
- Experience in a growing or fast-paced environment strongly preferred.
