Your Role
As an Accounting Intern, you will support the Accounting team with routine and learning‑focused tasks that help maintain accurate financial records and support month‑end close activities. You will work closely with Staff and Senior Accountants, gaining exposure to core accounting processes while developing practical skills in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
Primary Functions of the Accounting Intern Include:
Assist with basic accounting tasks such as data entry, posting support schedules, and organizing supporting documentation for journal entries and reconciliations.
Help prepare and maintain account reconciliations by gathering support and flagging discrepancies for review.
Support accounts payable activities, including reviewing vendor invoices for completeness, proper coding, and required approvals, and organizing AP records.
Assist with maintaining organized financial support files to ensure audit readiness and compliance with internal policies.
Provide administrative and ad-hoc accounting support to team members across accounting, FP&A, HR, and other departments as needed.
Perform other related duties and learning assignments as assigned.
How You Qualify

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Basic understanding of accounting concepts and financial statements
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and learning new systems
Interest in healthcare, accounting operations, and process improvement is a plus
The base pay range for this role is $17.00 -$20.00 per hour. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, and organizational needs.
