Your Role
The Actuarial Intern will temporarily support monthly financial forecasts for Provider Organization (PO) partners in Medicare programs like ACO REACH, MSSP, and Medicare Advantaged over the course of summer 2026. This role will collaborate cross-functionally to optimize processes and drive insights through data analysis and modeling. Primary Functions of the Actuarial Intern Include:
Support the development of monthly financial forecasts for all Provider Organization (PO) partners in at least one major Line-of-Business (ACO REACH, MSSP, Medicare Advantage).
Assist the actuarial, clinical, finance and strategy teams with data analysis and modeling.
Plan and execute projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion of analyses and reports.
Ensure compliance with relevant actuarial standards, regulatory requirements, and internal guidelines.
Collaborate effectively in a highly matrixed environment.
Create presentations in PowerPoint using advanced skill sets.
Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced (e.g., MBA, MS) degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
Interest or progress toward attainment of relevant actuarial certification (e.g., ASA, FSA)
Strong analytical and modeling skills using Excel
Strong data analysis skills using SQL, SAS, or similar programming languages
Demonstrate genuine curiosity on the job when performing data analysis
Excellent prioritization and communication skills, you must be bold enough to speak up and ask for assistance when needed
The base pay range for this role is $17.00 -$20.00 per hour. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, and organizational needs.
