Your Role
The Strategic Finance Intern will temporarily support financial analysis, operations analytics, and strategic initiatives that help guide organizational decision‑making over the course of summer 2026. This role will assist in building financial models, analyzing performance trends, and preparing insights that inform leadership discussions. The Strategic Finance Intern will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather data, automate processes, and support the development of financial recommendations. This position will contribute to improving processes and enhancing the accuracy and clarity of financial and operational reporting.
Primary Functions of the Strategic Finance Intern Include:
Build and update financial models that support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all assumptions and calculations.
Prepare presentations, reports, and visualizations that communicate financial and operational insights to stakeholders, including summaries of key drivers and recommendations.
Automate recurring analytics and finance reports by building structured processes, templates, and data‑driven workflows that reduce manual effort and increase accuracy.
Perform root cause analysis related to operational and clinical performance by investigating variances, identifying drivers, and summarizing findings for internal stakeholders.
Conduct research on industry benchmarks, competitive trends, and market dynamics to inform strategic planning and financial decision‑making.
Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful insights
Proficiency in Excel, including functions such as lookups, pivot tables, and basic modeling
Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated interest in finance, strategy, or operations analytics
The base pay range for this role is $17.00 -$20.00. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, and organizational needs.
