Your Role

As an IT Program Manager, you will lead the strategy, planning, and delivery of cross-functional technical programs that support both internal operations and external clients. You will translate business objectives into executable technical plans, manage interdependencies across teams, and ensure that solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable business value. You will lead project teams, proactively identify risks, and work with key stakeholders to mitigate those risks and any potential downstream impacts. You will demonstrate strong emotional intelligence, confidence, and a proactive work ethic.

Primary Functions of the IT Program Manager Include:

  • Lead multiple technical programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment to business strategy and organizational priorities

  • Translate business objectives into detailed technical requirements, deliverables, and timelines. Anticipate the needs of the business and responding accordingly throughout the project lifecycle by taking the steps needed to move work forward

  • Establish and maintain program artifacts including project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and delivery dashboards

  • Maintain a consistent communication cadence tailored to stakeholder needs, including project team member and executive-level updates

  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, and blockers; escalate appropriately with recommended options to ensure programs remain on schedule, within budget, and within approved scope; manage formal change control as needed

  • Manage vendor development and project teams as applicable to assigned projects

  • Coordinate testing, deployment, and go-live readiness activities, including post-implementation support planning

  • Ensure delivered solutions are fully operationalized and meet documented functional, technical, and quality standards

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO standards, frameworks, and delivery practices

How You Qualify

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or similar field is required

  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is required

  • 5+ years managing complex technical projects or programs with a proven track record of delivering enterprise initiatives with executive visibility

  • 3+ years of experience implementing Agile and Scrum project management methodologies

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence senior leaders, manage ambiguity, and drive strategic outcomes without formal authority

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to executive, technical, and operational audiences

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams, etc.)

  • Proficiency using project and work management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or similar platforms

  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities

The base pay range for this role is $129,700.00 - 154,350.00. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Honest. Eligible roles also qualify for short-term incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
