Responsibilities

The Operations Analyst Population Health is responsible for assisting operations leaders in business efforts and organizational improvement initiatives. This role will be responsible for tracking and presenting KPI's with a heavy lens on data and supporting the Population Health Team to uncover insights on how to effectively use data, to tell the story of the teams’ efforts and outcomes. The Operations Analyst Population Health will focus on enabling the teams with the information and analytic tools they need. This role will dive deep into our data to explore and present insights, as well as work collaboratively with teams to build out sustainable solutions as we scale. This requires a mindset with an understanding of how internal processes can be optimized to better all of HarmonyCares’ operations. This role will have a focus on Project management, as well as data analytics, which will be accomplished through problem identification, analysis of issues, and opportunities, process measurement and translating the data with clear storytelling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive performance and insight across Medical Group through actionable reporting and communication
  • Collaborate with the Population Health Team to help optimize, through analytics, to ensure the team is effectively meeting goals and enrolling members efficiently
  • Build models, dashboards and analytic tools for teammates and communicates key insights in a clear and concise manner
  • Work with operations leaders to monitor work time and productivity
  • Collaborate as part of a team to drive analyses and insights that lead to more informed decisions and improved business performance
  • Manage KPI metrics ensuring that data is correctly represented.
  • Assure we are optimizing resources effectively and continually assessing our staffing
  • Maintain productivity reports alongside operations and data team
  • Assist leaders in pulling ad-hoc data to drive decisions as necessary, including following launch of new solutions and initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or related field with healthcare area of focus

  • 2 years of experience in operations, planning, reporting & analytics, process improvement projects and/or workforce management

  • 2 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in healthcare

  • Advanced knowledge with Word, Excel, (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) PowerPoint, Tableau/SQL and various presentation tools to effectively facilitate

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Experience working in a start-up or hypergrowth environment

  • Ability to tell a concise, purposeful, and actionable narrative using data

  • Innovative mentality and attack challenges with a fresh perspective

  • Proven ability to effectively direct complex projects, including demonstrated ability in project management, analytical skills, and problem definition, analysis, and resolution

  • Entrepreneurial insight, with high tolerance for ambiguity and complexity and bias for action

  • Sharp attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Master’s Degree
  • Experience in Healthcare
  • Experience with Snowflake
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
