YOUR ROLE

As a Sr. Analyst, Reporting & Analytics with Evergreen Nephrology, you will report to the Manager of Reporting & Analytics and collaborate with the broader analytics, technology, and operations teams to develop key KPIs, metrics, and reporting that drive company performance and patient outcomes. Your reporting (e.g., Power BI) and analytic skills will help to develop new metrics and reports, follow a process around gathering requirements and feedback, provide analytics and clinical outcomes reporting to our customers, and supply data-driven insights to our operations and clinical teams. This role is an individual contributor role.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

  • Collaborate with business partners to gather business reporting and analytics requirements, within the context of Power BI and transform raw data into desired metrics and insights
  • Utilize Power BI to design and create analytics dashboards and operational reports
  • Validate the accuracy and quality of the data represented within analytics and reporting outputs
  • Train end users on newly deployed dashboards
  • Support ongoing enhancements and maintenance of deployed dashboards
  • Work alongside operations teams to understand Evergreen’s operational model and support the evaluation of productivity, engagement, and utilization drivers in our membership cohort
  • Work alongside technology team to understand the data ingestion roadmap and data availability within the data warehouse environment
  • Identify and track issues with reports, including defects in logic, data quality problems, and process errors
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) with specific objectives and track them regularly
  • Maintain documentation of existing reports and dashboards (KPI definitions, data sources, etc.)

YOU’RE GOOD AT

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, statistics, public health, economics, or a related field. (Master's degree Preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in a reporting and analytics environment in the health care industry
  • Health care industry experience and value-based care preferred
  • 1+ years developing dashboards and reports utilizing BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or SAP), Power BI preferred
  • Knowledge of Power BI application security layer models
  • Strong SQL query skills to get the best results
  • Proven hands-on knowledge of turning data into relevant reports and visualizations
  • Experience with data warehouses and big data technologies such as Snowflake a strong plus
  • Develop and maintain data models to support analytics and reporting needs
  • Strong organizational, analytical, multi-tasking, documentation, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form to a widely diverse audience
  • Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills
  • Proven understanding of healthcare privacy and security practices
  • Experience in Python is a plus, but not required
